How Bamboo is Processed?
Harvested bamboo have their stems split and skins removed, leaving behind bamboo strands. These strands are modified using our proprietary Thermo Density® process, improving the dimensional stability of bamboo by 50%.
The strands are then heated at 200℃ to build their resistance to fungal growth and to maximize their durability. Finally, the bamboo strands are compressed under high pressure, making them stronger, harder, and sturdier than most hardwoods on the market.
